ValueRoute Co provides local and long-distance moving services.
Great service from a friendly and hardworking crew. Everything arrived safely. Minor communication delay with dispatch but the actual movers were excellent.
We had a complicated move with a three-story house and elevator building destination. They handled everything without complaint, finished under the estimated time, and were cheerful throughout.

Had a complicated move with a storage unit stop in between. They coordinated everything perfectly. Not a single hiccup. This company clearly knows what they are doing.

Where do I even begin? ValueRoute Co handled my move from Jersey City, NJ to Baltimore, MD and it was, without exaggeration, the smoothest moving experience of my life. I had been dreading this move for weeks — packing up a four-bedroom house with two kids and a dog felt impossible — but from the moment Eddie and his crew knocked on my door at 7:45 AM, all my anxiety melted away. These guys are true professionals. They came in, did a quick assessment, and then worked like a well-oiled machine for the next five hours. What impressed me most was their attention to the little things. They took the doors off my hinges to get the couch out, then put them right back on. They shrink-wrapped my upholstered furniture to protect against dirt and moisture. They used wardrobe boxes so my clothes stayed on hangers. Eddie personally handled my home office equipment, double-boxing my monitors and printers. When they arrived at the destination in Baltimore, MD, the unloading was just as meticulous. They placed every box in the room it was labeled for, reassembled all my bedroom furniture, and even helped me center my dining table under the light fixture. They hauled away all packing materials and left my new home spotless. Total cost was about $5,000, slightly under what two other companies quoted. No damage, no delays, no drama. ValueRoute Co has earned a customer for life. Owen Hughes
ValueRoute Co did a solid job moving our three-bedroom apartment from Raleigh, NC to Oakland, CA. The crew was polite, worked hard, and took care with our belongings. A couple of boxes got slightly dented in transit but nothing inside was damaged. The price was competitive and there were no hidden fees. Andre, the foreman, was organized and kept everything on track. I would recommend ValueRoute Co to friends and family without hesitation. Total cost was $3,400. Good value for the quality of service. My family and I just completed our move from Columbus, OH to Las Vegas, NV with ValueRoute Co, and I felt compelled to write this review because the service was genuinely exceptional. Moving with three kids under the age of ten is chaotic enough, but the crew made the physical part of the move completely painless. Eddie was the crew lead, and he was fantastic with my kids — he cracked jokes, let them "help" carry light boxes, and kept the mood light. But these guys are serious professionals. They wrapped every piece of furniture in quilted moving blankets and secured them with stretch wrap. My leather sectional sofa came out without a single mark. They took apart my kids' bunk beds, labeled every piece, and reassembled them perfectly at the new house. The truck was loaded with incredible efficiency — Eddie told me he has been loading trucks for over ten years, and it showed. Delivery happened exactly when they said it would, and the crew in Las Vegas, NV was just as good. They worked around my toddler's nap schedule and even offered to help me set up my nursery furniture. The final bill was $4,300, exactly as quoted. Not one item was broken, scratched, or lost. If you want a moving company that treats your family and your belongings with genuine care, ValueRoute Co is the one. Nancy Wilson
Reliable service at a fair price from ValueRoute Co. The crew was polite, worked hard, and finished faster than the estimated time. Communication from the office could have been a bit more responsive in the days leading up to the move, but on moving day everything went smoothly. Andre and his team were careful with all my items from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Indianapolis, IN. All my items arrived safely and the crew was friendly throughout. The final price was $2,600. I would recommend ValueRoute Co to anyone. Neha Reed
After being burned by a different moving company last year, I was extremely cautious about who I hired for my move from Washington, DC to Louisville, KY. I did extensive research, read dozens of reviews, and ultimately chose ValueRoute Co based on their consistently high ratings and transparent pricing. That decision paid off in every possible way. The office staff was responsive from day one — they answered all my questions, provided a detailed binding estimate, and never pressured me into buying services I did not need. On moving day, Victor and his three-person team arrived at 8:30 AM and got straight to work. I was particularly impressed by how they handled my specialty items. I have a vintage pinball machine that weighs over 300 pounds, and Victor knew exactly how to secure it for transport. He used furniture sliders to get it out of my basement, wrapped it in multiple layers of moving blankets, and strapped it securely to the wall of the truck. They also took great care with my king-size bed frame, disassembling it carefully and bagging all the hardware. The drive to Louisville, KY took about a day and a half, and the driver checked in with me regularly. When they arrived, the unloading was just as careful. Total cost was $3,900, within $50 of the original estimate. This is what a professional moving experience should look like. ValueRoute Co has restored my faith in moving companies. Christopher Lewis
Moving is ranked as one of the most stressful life events, but after my experience with ValueRoute Co moving me from Indianapolis, IN to Baltimore, MD, I think that ranking needs to be revisited. The entire process was so smooth and well-organized that I actually enjoyed the experience. Carlos and his crew arrived at 8:00 AM and they were all business — in the best way possible. They came in, assessed the situation, and created a game plan on the spot. They designated one person to handle the kitchen, one to handle the bedrooms, and Carlos took charge of the living room and all the large furniture. They moved in perfect synchronization, calling out to each other as they passed in the hallway. My reclining sofa, which I was sure would not fit through the front door, was expertly maneuvered by Carlos using furniture sliders and a rotating technique. At the new place in Baltimore, MD, they were just as meticulous. They protected my new floors with cardboard runners, padded the door frames, and placed every item exactly where I pointed. They reassembled my bed frame, my desk, and my bookshelves, and took all the packing materials away. The cost was $2,800 for a one-bedroom long-distance move, very competitive. ValueRoute Co is worth every penny. Lauren Green
I have a lot of fragile collectibles and was very nervous. The movers custom-wrapped each piece individually and every single one arrived perfectly. Trust these guys completely.
Reliable service at a fair price from ValueRoute Co. The crew was polite, worked hard, and finished faster than the estimated time. Communication from the office could have been a bit more responsive in the days leading up to the move, but on moving day everything went smoothly. Paulie and his team were careful with all my items from Newark, NJ to Columbus, OH. All my items arrived safely and the crew was friendly throughout. The final price was $2,600. I would recommend ValueRoute Co to anyone. Evelyn Kelly
Hired these guys last minute and they still pulled off an amazing move. Very grateful for the quick response and great attitude. Highly recommend.
Moving cross-country is always stressful, but ValueRoute Co made my relocation from Long Beach, CA to Las Vegas, NV an absolute breeze. I got quotes from five different companies and ValueRoute Co was the most competitive on price at around $4,500 for my full three-bedroom household, and they were the only ones that sent a representative for an in-person estimate. On moving day, a four-person crew led by Andre arrived fifteen minutes early and immediately got to work. Each team member had a specific role, and they communicated constantly to make sure everything was handled efficiently. Andre took personal responsibility for wrapping my 65-inch TV, my glass coffee table, and my wife's piano, making sure each was fully protected for the long haul. They loaded the truck with incredible precision — Andre explained that proper loading prevents shifting during transit. When my belongings arrived in Las Vegas, NV six days later, everything was in perfect condition. The delivery crew was just as professional — they called ahead, arrived on schedule, and unloaded everything with the same level of care. The entire process was seamless and the final cost matched the estimate perfectly. If you are moving long-distance, call ValueRoute Co. Camila Clark
I recently moved from Charlotte, NC to Columbus, OH with ValueRoute Co and I cannot say enough good things about them. From the very first phone call, their customer service team was responsive, patient, and completely transparent about pricing. They gave me a binding estimate that did not change on moving day — no hidden fees, no surprise charges. The crew, led by Frankie, showed up right on time at 8 AM with a clean truck and all the equipment they needed. Frankie introduced himself and his team, laid down floor protectors in my hallway, and immediately got to work wrapping every single piece of furniture in moving blankets and stretch wrap. I was particularly worried about my grandmother's antique dining table, and Frankie personally made sure it was padded with extra blankets and custom cardboard corner protectors. My entire two-bedroom apartment was loaded in under three hours, and Frankie did a final walk-through with me to confirm nothing was left behind. During the drive, the driver called me with updates on his ETA. When they arrived at my new place in Columbus, OH, they unloaded everything just as carefully. Every box was placed in the correct room, my furniture was reassembled, and they even helped position my couch exactly where I wanted it. Not a single item was damaged. The final bill was exactly what was quoted — $3,200. ValueRoute Co is the most professional moving company I have ever worked with. Charlotte Young
Very happy with how my move went with ValueRoute Co. The crew was professional, efficient, and respectful of my home. They laid down floor protection and wore shoe covers, which I really appreciated. I am docking one star because the scheduling process was slightly confusing at first, but the office staff resolved it quickly and the actual move day was smooth. Eddie was the crew lead and he was great — friendly, careful, and fast. My move from Boston, MA to Phoenix, AZ cost $2,500, which was fair. Good value for a quality service. Sandra Nelson
Good movers who clearly know what they are doing at ValueRoute Co. They packed everything carefully and loaded the truck efficiently. The only small issue was that a bolt went missing during the disassembly of my bed frame, but Devon apologized and replaced it on the spot from a hardware kit they carry. That kind of preparedness says a lot about the company. My move from Memphis, TN to Denver, CO went smoothly and cost $2,900. Would use ValueRoute Co again. Michelle Perry
My family and I just completed our move from Staten Island, NY to Pittsburgh, PA with ValueRoute Co, and I felt compelled to write this review because the service was genuinely exceptional. Moving with three kids under the age of ten is chaotic enough, but the crew made the physical part of the move completely painless. I am not someone who writes reviews, but after my experience with ValueRoute Co moving me from Albuquerque, NM to Dallas, TX, I felt I owed it to other people who are searching for a trustworthy moving company. I had a complicated move — a two-bedroom apartment that included a home gym with heavy weights, a large collection of vinyl records, and several pieces of mid-century modern furniture. Tommy and his team handled every single item with a level of care that went above and beyond what I expected. The vinyl records alone took up about 30 boxes, and Tommy made sure each box was loaded flat and secured so the records would not warp. My mid-century credenza was wrapped in three layers of moving blankets, corner-protected with cardboard, and then shrink-wrapped. The home gym weights were loaded on the bottom of the truck to create a stable base. These guys clearly know what they are doing. Delivery in Dallas, TX was on time, and the crew placed every item exactly where I wanted it. Total cost: $2,950 for about 1,800 cubic feet. Fair, transparent, and exactly as quoted. Zero damage. Zero stress. I cannot recommend ValueRoute Co strongly enough. Carol Johnson
