ValueMove Services provides local and long-distance moving services.
Really good movers. Hardworking guys who got the job done. They were a bit slow on the stairs but no complaints about how they treated my stuff. Would use again.
The movers were courteous, fast, and extremely careful with our belongings. They wrapped every piece of furniture and used blankets on all the sharp corners. Arrived at destination in perfect condition.
Moving is ranked as one of the most stressful life events, but after my experience with ValueMove Services moving me from Long Beach, CA to Oakland, CA, I think that ranking needs to be revisited. The entire process was so smooth and well-organized that I actually enjoyed the experience. Junior and his crew arrived at 8:00 AM and they were all business — in the best way possible. They came in, assessed the situation, and created a game plan on the spot. They designated one person to handle the kitchen, one to handle the bedrooms, and Junior took charge of the living room and all the large furniture. They moved in perfect synchronization, calling out to each other as they passed in the hallway. My reclining sofa, which I was sure would not fit through the front door, was expertly maneuvered by Junior using furniture sliders and a rotating technique. At the new place in Oakland, CA, they were just as meticulous. They protected my new floors with cardboard runners, padded the door frames, and placed every item exactly where I pointed. They reassembled my bed frame, my desk, and my bookshelves, and took all the packing materials away. The cost was $2,800 for a one-bedroom long-distance move, very competitive. ValueMove Services is worth every penny. Valentina Kelly
I cannot believe how efficiently they packed our truck. Not a single inch of space was wasted and nothing shifted during transport. True professionals at work.
I am not someone who writes reviews, but after my experience with ValueMove Services moving me from Santa Ana, CA to Newark, NJ, I felt I owed it to other people who are searching for a trustworthy moving company. I had a complicated move — a two-bedroom apartment that included a home gym with heavy weights, a large collection of vinyl records, and several pieces of mid-century modern furniture. Andre and his team handled every single item with a level of care that went above and beyond what I expected. The vinyl records alone took up about 30 boxes, and Andre made sure each box was loaded flat and secured so the records would not warp. My mid-century credenza was wrapped in three layers of moving blankets, corner-protected with cardboard, and then shrink-wrapped. The home gym weights were loaded on the bottom of the truck to create a stable base. These guys clearly know what they are doing. Delivery in Newark, NJ was on time, and the crew placed every item exactly where I wanted it. Total cost: $2,950 for about 1,800 cubic feet. Fair, transparent, and exactly as quoted. Zero damage. Zero stress. I cannot recommend ValueMove Services strongly enough. Ava Ross
Reliable service at a fair price from ValueMove Services. The crew was polite, worked hard, and finished faster than the estimated time. Communication from the office could have been a bit more responsive in the days leading up to the move, but on moving day everything went smoothly. Benny and his team were careful with all my items from Kansas City, MO to Nashville, TN. All my items arrived safely and the crew was friendly throughout. The final price was $2,600. I would recommend ValueMove Services to anyone. Amy Martin
Cannot say enough good things. Responsive customer service, competitive price, and a crew that clearly takes pride in their work. My piano arrived without a scratch. Outstanding.
My family and I just completed our move from New York, NY to Raleigh, NC with ValueMove Services, and I felt compelled to write this review because the service was genuinely exceptional. Moving with three kids under the age of ten is chaotic enough, but the crew made the physical part of the move completely painless. Carlos was the crew lead, and he was fantastic with my kids — he cracked jokes, let them "help" carry light boxes, and kept the mood light. But these guys are serious professionals. They wrapped every piece of furniture in quilted moving blankets and secured them with stretch wrap. My leather sectional sofa came out without a single mark. They took apart my kids' bunk beds, labeled every piece, and reassembled them perfectly at the new house. The truck was loaded with incredible efficiency — Carlos told me he has been loading trucks for over ten years, and it showed. Delivery happened exactly when they said it would, and the crew in Raleigh, NC was just as good. They worked around my toddler's nap schedule and even offered to help me set up my nursery furniture. The final bill was $4,300, exactly as quoted. Not one item was broken, scratched, or lost. If you want a moving company that treats your family and your belongings with genuine care, ValueMove Services is the one. Eric Ramirez

I am not someone who writes reviews, but after my experience with ValueMove Services moving me from Jersey City, NJ to Philadelphia, PA, I felt I owed it to other people who are searching for a trustworthy moving company. I had a complicated move — a two-bedroom apartment that included a home gym with heavy weights, a large collection of vinyl records, and several pieces of mid-century modern furniture. Tommy and his team handled every single item with a level of care that went above and beyond what I expected. The vinyl records alone took up about 30 boxes, and Tommy made sure each box was loaded flat and secured so the records would not warp. My mid-century credenza was wrapped in three layers of moving blankets, corner-protected with cardboard, and then shrink-wrapped. The home gym weights were loaded on the bottom of the truck to create a stable base. These guys clearly know what they are doing. Zero damage. Zero stress. I cannot recommend ValueMove Services strongly enough. Mark Hall
Good movers who clearly know what they are doing at ValueMove Services. They packed everything carefully and loaded the truck efficiently. The only small issue was that a bolt went missing during the disassembly of my bed frame, but Benny apologized and replaced it on the spot from a hardware kit they carry. That kind of preparedness says a lot about the company. My move from Boston, MA to Washington, DC went smoothly and cost $2,900. Would use ValueMove Services again. Michelle Torres
I am writing this review because I want everyone to know how incredible ValueMove Services is. My move from Washington, DC to Fort Lauderdale, FL was handled with a level of professionalism that I did not know existed in the moving industry. Benny, the crew chief, called me the night before to confirm the arrival time and answer any last-minute questions. The team showed up at exactly 8 AM in a clean, well-maintained truck. They introduced themselves, shook my hand, and asked me to walk them through the house. I have a lot of fragile items — crystal vases, framed artwork, a grandfather clock — and Benny assured me they would take extra care with each one. Every fragile item was individually wrapped in packing paper and then bubble-wrapped before being placed in a double-walled box. My grandfather clock was padded so heavily it looked like it was wearing a winter coat. The crew loaded my entire two-bedroom apartment in about three hours and did a final walkthrough. Delivery in Fort Lauderdale, FL happened two days later, right on schedule. The unloading crew was equally impressive — careful, respectful, and quick. They laid down runners on my hardwood floors and corner guards on the door frames. I inspected every item and found zero damage. The bill was exactly as quoted: $3,450, no hidden charges. I have already recommended ValueMove Services to three coworkers. Samuel Lopez
Professional crew that took care of all our furniture and boxes. Four stars because one item arrived with a small scratch, but the company followed up and offered compensation.
Moving is ranked as one of the most stressful life events, but after my experience with ValueMove Services moving me from Bronx, NY to Oakland, CA, I think that ranking needs to be revisited. I recently moved from Las Vegas, NV to Fort Lauderdale, FL with ValueMove Services and I cannot say enough good things about them. From the very first phone call, their customer service team was responsive, patient, and completely transparent about pricing. They gave me a binding estimate that did not change on moving day — no hidden fees, no surprise charges. The crew, led by Carlos, showed up right on time at 8 AM with a clean truck and all the equipment they needed. Carlos introduced himself and his team, laid down floor protectors in my hallway, and immediately got to work wrapping every single piece of furniture in moving blankets and stretch wrap. I was particularly worried about my grandmother's antique dining table, and Carlos personally made sure it was padded with extra blankets and custom cardboard corner protectors. My entire two-bedroom apartment was loaded in under three hours, and Carlos did a final walk-through with me to confirm nothing was left behind. During the drive, the driver called me with updates on his ETA. When they arrived at my new place in Fort Lauderdale, FL, they unloaded everything just as carefully. Every box was placed in the correct room, my furniture was reassembled, and they even helped position my couch exactly where I wanted it. Not a single item was damaged. The final bill was exactly what was quoted — $3,200. ValueMove Services is the most professional moving company I have ever worked with. Michael Johnson
From the first phone call to the final box being placed in my new home, the service was exceptional. The team handled my antique furniture like it was their own. Absolute professionals.
I will keep it simple: ValueMove Services is the only moving company I will ever use again. My move from Nashville, TN to Charlotte, NC was supposed to be a nightmare — I was selling my house, the buyer was pushing for a quick close, and I had not finished packing when moving day arrived. But Eddie and his crew showed up, took one look at the chaos, and immediately took control. They brought extra boxes and packing supplies, and within thirty minutes they had organized my partially-packed rooms into a system. Eddie assigned two team members to finish packing my kitchen while he and another crew member started loading the already-boxed items. They worked in parallel and it was incredibly efficient. Despite the last-minute nature of my move, they never once made me feel bad about not being ready. Eddie just said, "Don't worry, we've got you," and they absolutely did. They loaded my entire three-bedroom house in about five hours, including my piano and my glass display cabinet. Not a single item was damaged in transit. When they arrived in Charlotte, NC, they unloaded everything into the rooms I specified, helped me set up my bed frame so I had a place to sleep, and even moved my refrigerator into the kitchen and leveled it. The final cost was $3,500 — exactly what was quoted. ValueMove Services saved me on what could have been a terrible day. Mark Smith
Very pleased with the move. They were quick, careful, and respectful of my belongings. Knocked one star off for a slightly confusing billing process but the service itself was great.
Great service from a friendly and hardworking crew at ValueMove Services. They wrapped all my furniture carefully and handled my fragile boxes with extra attention. There was a minor communication delay with the dispatch office on the morning of the move, but Luis and the actual movers were excellent and more than made up for it. Everything was delivered on time and in great shape from Fresno, CA to Austin, TX. The price was competitive at $2,700 and there were no hidden fees. I would happily book ValueMove Services again for my next move. Solid four stars. Joshua Foster
