BudgetHaul Express

Moved across three state lines and they were with me every step of the way. Constant communication, careful handling, and delivered on the exact day promised.

Excellent communication from start to finish. The dispatcher kept me updated and the crew called thirty minutes before arrival. Everything was unloaded perfectly. Thank you.

I will keep it simple: BudgetHaul Express is the only moving company I will ever use again. My move from Memphis, TN to Richmond, VA was supposed to be a nightmare — I was selling my house, the buyer was pushing for a quick close, and I had not finished packing when moving day arrived. But Marcus and his crew showed up, took one look at the chaos, and immediately took control. They brought extra boxes and packing supplies, and within thirty minutes they had organized my partially-packed rooms into a system. Marcus assigned two team members to finish packing my kitchen while he and another crew member started loading the already-boxed items. They worked in parallel and it was incredibly efficient. Despite the last-minute nature of my move, they never once made me feel bad about not being ready. Marcus just said, "Don't worry, we've got you," and they absolutely did. They loaded my entire three-bedroom house in about five hours, including my piano and my glass display cabinet. Not a single item was damaged in transit. When they arrived in Richmond, VA, they unloaded everything into the rooms I specified, helped me set up my bed frame so I had a place to sleep, and even moved my refrigerator into the kitchen and leveled it. The final cost was $3,500 — exactly what was quoted. BudgetHaul Express saved me on what could have been a terrible day. Betty Nelson

As a military family, we have moved eleven times in the last twenty years. Our recent move from Boston, MA to Phoenix, AZ with BudgetHaul Express was, hands down, the best moving experience we have ever had. Jamal was our crew chief, and he ran the operation like a seasoned logistics officer. He arrived with a pre-loaded inventory sheet on a tablet, walked through our house room by room, and tagged every item with a numbered sticker. Every item was accounted for at pickup and at delivery — nothing was lost. The crew packed our kitchen with surgical precision. Every dish was wrapped individually, glasses went into cell boxes, and our cast iron cookware was stacked carefully. Jamal personally handled my husband's gun safe — a 400-pound beast that most movers refuse to touch. He had the right equipment, took his time, and got it out without damaging a single door frame. The truck arrived in Phoenix, AZ on the exact date promised, and the delivery crew worked with the same efficiency. The total cost was $4,800 for a full-service, four-bedroom move with packing included. If you are a military family looking for a mover who respects your belongings and your time, call BudgetHaul Express. Kimberly Adams

I am writing this review because I want everyone to know how incredible BudgetHaul Express is. My move from Kansas City, MO to Memphis, TN was handled with a level of professionalism that I did not know existed in the moving industry. Tommy, the crew chief, called me the night before to confirm the arrival time and answer any last-minute questions. The team showed up at exactly 8 AM in a clean, well-maintained truck. They introduced themselves, shook my hand, and asked me to walk them through the house. I have a lot of fragile items — crystal vases, framed artwork, a grandfather clock — and Tommy assured me they would take extra care with each one. Every fragile item was individually wrapped in packing paper and then bubble-wrapped before being placed in a double-walled box. My grandfather clock was padded so heavily it looked like it was wearing a winter coat. The crew loaded my entire two-bedroom apartment in about three hours and did a final walkthrough. Delivery in Memphis, TN happened two days later, right on schedule. The unloading crew was equally impressive — careful, respectful, and quick. They laid down runners on my hardwood floors and corner guards on the door frames. I inspected every item and found zero damage. The bill was exactly as quoted: $3,450, no hidden charges. I have already recommended BudgetHaul Express to three coworkers. Katherine Nelson

Reliable service at a fair price from BudgetHaul Express. The crew was polite, worked hard, and finished faster than the estimated time. Communication from the office could have been a bit more responsive in the days leading up to the move, but on moving day everything went smoothly. Tommy and his team were careful with all my items from San Diego, CA to Baltimore, MD. All my items arrived safely and the crew was friendly throughout. The final price was $2,600. I would recommend BudgetHaul Express to anyone. Tyler Rivera

Overall a really positive experience with BudgetHaul Express. The movers were careful, professional, and worked efficiently. The only reason I am not giving five stars is that the truck arrived about twenty minutes late, but the crew made up for it with their speed once they got started. Sam, the crew chief, was apologetic about the delay and kept the team moving at a good pace. Everything arrived in perfect condition and the final price was exactly as quoted — $3,100 for my two-bedroom move from Richmond, VA to Las Vegas, NV. They wrapped all my furniture, were respectful of my home, and placed everything in the right rooms at delivery. I would definitely use BudgetHaul Express again and recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable moving company. Brian Ward

Hired these guys last minute and they still pulled off an amazing move. Very grateful for the quick response and great attitude. Highly recommend.

I recently moved from Virginia Beach, VA to El Paso, TX with BudgetHaul Express and I cannot say enough good things about them. From the very first phone call, their customer service team was responsive, patient, and completely transparent about pricing. They gave me a binding estimate that did not change on moving day — no hidden fees, no surprise charges. The crew, led by Marcus, showed up right on time at 8 AM with a clean truck and all the equipment they needed. Marcus introduced himself and his team, laid down floor protectors in my hallway, and immediately got to work wrapping every single piece of furniture in moving blankets and stretch wrap. I was particularly worried about my grandmother's antique dining table, and Marcus personally made sure it was padded with extra blankets and custom cardboard corner protectors. My entire two-bedroom apartment was loaded in under three hours, and Marcus did a final walk-through with me to confirm nothing was left behind. During the drive, the driver called me with updates on his ETA. When they arrived at my new place in El Paso, TX, they unloaded everything just as carefully. Every box was placed in the correct room, my furniture was reassembled, and they even helped position my couch exactly where I wanted it. Not a single item was damaged. The final bill was exactly what was quoted — $3,200. BudgetHaul Express is the most professional moving company I have ever worked with. Jonathan Johnson

Best customer service I have experienced in years. From the first quote call to post-delivery follow-up, they treated me like I mattered. The move itself was flawless.

I will keep it simple: BudgetHaul Express is the only moving company I will ever use again. My move from Seattle, WA to Portland, OR was supposed to be a nightmare — I was selling my house, the buyer was pushing for a quick close, and I had not finished packing when moving day arrived. Happy with how the move turned out. The crew packed things well and nothing important was damaged. The office staff could be a bit more responsive but the movers were excellent.

From the first phone call to the final box being placed in my new home, the service was exceptional. The team handled my antique furniture like it was their own. Absolute professionals.

The entire team was incredibly respectful of our home and belongings. They wore shoe covers inside, laid down floor protection, and cleaned up after themselves. Exceptional.

Moving is ranked as one of the most stressful life events, but after my experience with BudgetHaul Express moving me from Tampa, FL to Pittsburgh, PA, I think that ranking needs to be revisited. The entire process was so smooth and well-organized that I actually enjoyed the experience. Devon and his crew arrived at 8:00 AM and they were all business — in the best way possible. They came in, assessed the situation, and created a game plan on the spot. They designated one person to handle the kitchen, one to handle the bedrooms, and Devon took charge of the living room and all the large furniture. They moved in perfect synchronization, calling out to each other as they passed in the hallway. My reclining sofa, which I was sure would not fit through the front door, was expertly maneuvered by Devon using furniture sliders and a rotating technique. At the new place in Pittsburgh, PA, they were just as meticulous. They protected my new floors with cardboard runners, padded the door frames, and placed every item exactly where I pointed. They reassembled my bed frame, my desk, and my bookshelves, and took all the packing materials away. The cost was $2,800 for a one-bedroom long-distance move, very competitive. BudgetHaul Express is worth every penny. Charles Russell

My family and I just completed our move from Albuquerque, NM to Queens, NY with BudgetHaul Express, and I felt compelled to write this review because the service was genuinely exceptional. Moving with three kids under the age of ten is chaotic enough, but the crew made the physical part of the move completely painless. Hector was the crew lead, and he was fantastic with my kids — he cracked jokes, let them "help" carry light boxes, and kept the mood light. But these guys are serious professionals. They wrapped every piece of furniture in quilted moving blankets and secured them with stretch wrap. My leather sectional sofa came out without a single mark. They took apart my kids' bunk beds, labeled every piece, and reassembled them perfectly at the new house. The truck was loaded with incredible efficiency — Hector told me he has been loading trucks for over ten years, and it showed. Delivery happened exactly when they said it would, and the crew in Queens, NY was just as good. They worked around my toddler's nap schedule and even offered to help me set up my nursery furniture. The final bill was $4,300, exactly as quoted. Not one item was broken, scratched, or lost. If you want a moving company that treats your family and your belongings with genuine care, BudgetHaul Express is the one. Patrick Lewis

Good movers who clearly know what they are doing at BudgetHaul Express. They packed everything carefully and loaded the truck efficiently. The only small issue was that a bolt went missing during the disassembly of my bed frame, but Frankie apologized and replaced it on the spot from a hardware kit they carry. That kind of preparedness says a lot about the company. My move from Portland, OR to Nashville, TN went smoothly and cost $2,900. Would use BudgetHaul Express again. Andre Davis

Very impressed with how organized they were. Every box was labeled and placed in the right room. No damage, no drama. Exactly what you want on moving day.

Very thorough with the packing and the inventory list. They even helped me reassemble my bed frame and mounted my TV. Went above and beyond. Will definitely book again.
