Hansen's Moving & Storage

They truly live up to their name. Dependable from the first call to the last box. Everything was on time, on budget, and handled with care. Could not recommend more highly.

These movers are the real deal. Professional, fast, and honest. The final bill matched the quote exactly. I have already recommended them to my coworkers.

My family and I just completed our move from Austin, TX to Phoenix, AZ with Hansen's Moving & Storage, and I felt compelled to write this review because the service was genuinely exceptional. Moving with three kids under the age of ten is chaotic enough, but the crew made the physical part of the move completely painless. Diego was the crew lead, and he was fantastic with my kids — he cracked jokes, let them "help" carry light boxes, and kept the mood light. But these guys are serious professionals. They wrapped every piece of furniture in quilted moving blankets and secured them with stretch wrap. My leather sectional sofa came out without a single mark. They took apart my kids' bunk beds, labeled every piece, and reassembled them perfectly at the new house. The truck was loaded with incredible efficiency — Diego told me he has been loading trucks for over ten years, and it showed. Delivery happened exactly when they said it would, and the crew in Phoenix, AZ was just as good. They worked around my toddler's nap schedule and even offered to help me set up my nursery furniture. The final bill was $4,300, exactly as quoted. Not one item was broken, scratched, or lost. If you want a moving company that treats your family and your belongings with genuine care, Hansen's Moving & Storage is the one. James Anderson

Very happy with how my move went. The crew was professional and efficient. I appreciated the upfront pricing. Slight hiccup with scheduling but they resolved it quickly.

After being burned by a different moving company last year, I was extremely cautious about who I hired for my move from Columbus, OH to Phoenix, AZ. I did extensive research, read dozens of reviews, and ultimately chose Hansen's Moving & Storage based on their consistently high ratings and transparent pricing. That decision paid off in every possible way. The office staff was responsive from day one — they answered all my questions, provided a detailed binding estimate, and never pressured me into buying services I did not need. On moving day, Jamal and his three-person team arrived at 8:30 AM and got straight to work. I was particularly impressed by how they handled my specialty items. I have a vintage pinball machine that weighs over 300 pounds, and Jamal knew exactly how to secure it for transport. He used furniture sliders to get it out of my basement, wrapped it in multiple layers of moving blankets, and strapped it securely to the wall of the truck. They also took great care with my king-size bed frame, disassembling it carefully and bagging all the hardware. The drive to Phoenix, AZ took about a day and a half, and the driver checked in with me regularly. When they arrived, the unloading was just as careful. Total cost was $3,900, within $50 of the original estimate. This is what a professional moving experience should look like. Hansen's Moving & Storage has restored my faith in moving companies. Very impressed with how organized they were. Every box was labeled and placed in the right room. No damage, no drama. Exactly what you want on moving day.

The team arrived with a smile, worked nonstop, and treated every item with care. Pricing was transparent with no surprises. This is the only moving company I will ever use.

Where do I even begin? Hansen's Moving & Storage handled my move from Seattle, WA to Jersey City, NJ and it was, without exaggeration, the smoothest moving experience of my life. I had been dreading this move for weeks — packing up a four-bedroom house with two kids and a dog felt impossible — but from the moment Carlos and his crew knocked on my door at 7:45 AM, all my anxiety melted away. These guys are true professionals. They came in, did a quick assessment, and then worked like a well-oiled machine for the next five hours. What impressed me most was their attention to the little things. They took the doors off my hinges to get the couch out, then put them right back on. They shrink-wrapped my upholstered furniture to protect against dirt and moisture. They used wardrobe boxes so my clothes stayed on hangers. Carlos personally handled my home office equipment, double-boxing my monitors and printers. When they arrived at the destination in Jersey City, NJ, the unloading was just as meticulous. They placed every box in the room it was labeled for, reassembled all my bedroom furniture, and even helped me center my dining table under the light fixture. They hauled away all packing materials and left my new home spotless. Total cost was about $5,000, slightly under what two other companies quoted. No damage, no delays, no drama. Hansen's Moving & Storage has earned a customer for life. Darius Gray

As a military family, we have moved eleven times in the last twenty years. Our recent move from Bakersfield, CA to Memphis, TN with Hansen's Moving & Storage was, hands down, the best moving experience we have ever had. Mike was our crew chief, and he ran the operation like a seasoned logistics officer. He arrived with a pre-loaded inventory sheet on a tablet, walked through our house room by room, and tagged every item with a numbered sticker. Every item was accounted for at pickup and at delivery — nothing was lost. The crew packed our kitchen with surgical precision. Every dish was wrapped individually, glasses went into cell boxes, and our cast iron cookware was stacked carefully. Mike personally handled my husband's gun safe — a 400-pound beast that most movers refuse to touch. He had the right equipment, took his time, and got it out without damaging a single door frame. The truck arrived in Memphis, TN on the exact date promised, and the delivery crew worked with the same efficiency. The total cost was $4,800 for a full-service, four-bedroom move with packing included. If you are a military family looking for a mover who respects your belongings and your time, call Hansen's Moving & Storage. Steven Anderson

My family and I just completed our move from Jersey City, NJ to Tampa, FL with Hansen's Moving & Storage, and I felt compelled to write this review because the service was genuinely exceptional. Moving with three kids under the age of ten is chaotic enough, but the crew made the physical part of the move completely painless. Ray was the crew lead, and he was fantastic with my kids — he cracked jokes, let them "help" carry light boxes, and kept the mood light. But these guys are serious professionals. They wrapped every piece of furniture in quilted moving blankets and secured them with stretch wrap. My leather sectional sofa came out without a single mark. They took apart my kids' bunk beds, labeled every piece, and reassembled them perfectly at the new house. The truck was loaded with incredible efficiency — Ray told me he has been loading trucks for over ten years, and it showed. Delivery happened exactly when they said it would, and the crew in Tampa, FL was just as good. They worked around my toddler's nap schedule and even offered to help me set up my nursery furniture. The final bill was $4,300, exactly as quoted. Not one item was broken, scratched, or lost. I am not someone who writes reviews, but after my experience with Hansen's Moving & Storage moving me from Fresno, CA to Richmond, VA, I felt I owed it to other people who are searching for a trustworthy moving company. I had a complicated move — a two-bedroom apartment that included a home gym with heavy weights, a large collection of vinyl records, and several pieces of mid-century modern furniture. Ray and his team handled every single item with a level of care that went above and beyond what I expected. The vinyl records alone took up about 30 boxes, and Ray made sure each box was loaded flat and secured so the records would not warp. My mid-century credenza was wrapped in three layers of moving blankets, corner-protected with cardboard, and then shrink-wrapped. The home gym weights were loaded on the bottom of the truck to create a stable base. These guys clearly know what they are doing. Delivery in Richmond, VA was on time, and the crew placed every item exactly where I wanted it. Total cost: $2,950 for about 1,800 cubic feet. Fair, transparent, and exactly as quoted. Zero damage. Zero stress. I cannot recommend Hansen's Moving & Storage strongly enough. Brittany Perez

Really good movers. Hardworking guys who got the job done. They were a bit slow on the stairs but no complaints about how they treated my stuff. Would use again.

The estimate was spot-on with no hidden fees at the end. The movers were polite and efficient. They finished a three-bedroom apartment in under five hours. Incredibly impressive.

Moving is ranked as one of the most stressful life events, but after my experience with Hansen's Moving & Storage moving me from Tampa, FL to Las Vegas, NV, I think that ranking needs to be revisited. The entire process was so smooth and well-organized that I actually enjoyed the experience. Jamal and his crew arrived at 8:00 AM and they were all business — in the best way possible. They came in, assessed the situation, and created a game plan on the spot. They designated one person to handle the kitchen, one to handle the bedrooms, and Jamal took charge of the living room and all the large furniture. They moved in perfect synchronization, calling out to each other as they passed in the hallway. My reclining sofa, which I was sure would not fit through the front door, was expertly maneuvered by Jamal using furniture sliders and a rotating technique. At the new place in Las Vegas, NV, they were just as meticulous. They protected my new floors with cardboard runners, padded the door frames, and placed every item exactly where I pointed. They reassembled my bed frame, my desk, and my bookshelves, and took all the packing materials away. The cost was $2,800 for a one-bedroom long-distance move, very competitive. Hansen's Moving & Storage is worth every penny. Henry Ross

I will keep it simple: Hansen's Moving & Storage is the only moving company I will ever use again. My move from Newark, NJ to Orlando, FL was supposed to be a nightmare — I was selling my house, the buyer was pushing for a quick close, and I had not finished packing when moving day arrived. But Junior and his crew showed up, took one look at the chaos, and immediately took control. They brought extra boxes and packing supplies, and within thirty minutes they had organized my partially-packed rooms into a system. Junior assigned two team members to finish packing my kitchen while he and another crew member started loading the already-boxed items. They worked in parallel and it was incredibly efficient. Despite the last-minute nature of my move, they never once made me feel bad about not being ready. Junior just said, "Don't worry, we've got you," and they absolutely did. They loaded my entire three-bedroom house in about five hours, including my piano and my glass display cabinet. Not a single item was damaged in transit. When they arrived in Orlando, FL, they unloaded everything into the rooms I specified, helped me set up my bed frame so I had a place to sleep, and even moved my refrigerator into the kitchen and leveled it. The final cost was $3,500 — exactly what was quoted. Hansen's Moving & Storage saved me on what could have been a terrible day. Thomas Mitchell

I am writing this review because I want everyone to know how incredible Hansen's Moving & Storage is. My move from Houston, TX to San Diego, CA was handled with a level of professionalism that I did not know existed in the moving industry. Frankie, the crew chief, called me the night before to confirm the arrival time and answer any last-minute questions. The team showed up at exactly 8 AM in a clean, well-maintained truck. They introduced themselves, shook my hand, and asked me to walk them through the house. I have a lot of fragile items — crystal vases, framed artwork, a grandfather clock — and Frankie assured me they would take extra care with each one. Every fragile item was individually wrapped in packing paper and then bubble-wrapped before being placed in a double-walled box. My grandfather clock was padded so heavily it looked like it was wearing a winter coat. The crew loaded my entire two-bedroom apartment in about three hours and did a final walkthrough. Delivery in San Diego, CA happened two days later, right on schedule. The unloading crew was equally impressive — careful, respectful, and quick. They laid down runners on my hardwood floors and corner guards on the door frames. I inspected every item and found zero damage. The bill was exactly as quoted: $3,450, no hidden charges. I have already recommended Hansen's Moving & Storage to three coworkers. Rachel Green

I cannot believe how efficiently they packed our truck. Not a single inch of space was wasted and nothing shifted during transport. True professionals at work.

The movers were courteous, fast, and extremely careful with our belongings. They wrapped every piece of furniture and used blankets on all the sharp corners. Arrived at destination in perfect condition.

They moved a two-bedroom apartment in just under four hours. Everything was wrapped, stacked, and handled with care. The price was fair and the service was excellent.

Good movers who clearly know what they are doing at Hansen's Moving & Storage. They packed everything carefully and loaded the truck efficiently. The only small issue was that a bolt went missing during the disassembly of my bed frame, but Tony apologized and replaced it on the spot from a hardware kit they carry. That kind of preparedness says a lot about the company. My move from Houston, TX to Washington, DC went smoothly and cost $2,900. Would use Hansen's Moving & Storage again. Grace Garcia
