College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving

The crew chief was fantastic — kept everything organized and made sure I was happy at every step. The whole team followed his lead. Great experience from beginning to end.

I have a lot of fragile collectibles and was very nervous. The movers custom-wrapped each piece individually and every single one arrived perfectly. Trust these guys completely.

Moving cross-country is always stressful, but College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving made my relocation from Chicago, IL to Dallas, TX an absolute breeze. I got quotes from five different companies and College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving was the most competitive on price at around $4,500 for my full three-bedroom household, and they were the only ones that sent a representative for an in-person estimate. On moving day, a four-person crew led by Dwight arrived fifteen minutes early and immediately got to work. Each team member had a specific role, and they communicated constantly to make sure everything was handled efficiently. Dwight took personal responsibility for wrapping my 65-inch TV, my glass coffee table, and my wife's piano, making sure each was fully protected for the long haul. They loaded the truck with incredible precision — Dwight explained that proper loading prevents shifting during transit. When my belongings arrived in Dallas, TX six days later, everything was in perfect condition. The delivery crew was just as professional — they called ahead, arrived on schedule, and unloaded everything with the same level of care. The entire process was seamless and the final cost matched the estimate perfectly. If you are moving long-distance, call College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving. Abigail Roberts

I will keep it simple: College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving is the only moving company I will ever use again. My move from Richmond, VA to Columbus, OH was supposed to be a nightmare — I was selling my house, the buyer was pushing for a quick close, and I had not finished packing when moving day arrived. But Tommy and his crew showed up, took one look at the chaos, and immediately took control. They brought extra boxes and packing supplies, and within thirty minutes they had organized my partially-packed rooms into a system. Tommy assigned two team members to finish packing my kitchen while he and another crew member started loading the already-boxed items. They worked in parallel and it was incredibly efficient. Despite the last-minute nature of my move, they never once made me feel bad about not being ready. Tommy just said, "Don't worry, we've got you," and they absolutely did. They loaded my entire three-bedroom house in about five hours, including my piano and my glass display cabinet. Not a single item was damaged in transit. When they arrived in Columbus, OH, they unloaded everything into the rooms I specified, helped me set up my bed frame so I had a place to sleep, and even moved my refrigerator into the kitchen and leveled it. The final cost was $3,500 — exactly what was quoted. College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving saved me on what could have been a terrible day. Katherine Gray

Hired them after a bad experience with another company. Night and day difference. These guys are true professionals. Everything was labeled, stacked, and delivered exactly where I wanted it.

Overall a really positive experience with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving. The movers were careful, professional, and worked efficiently. The only reason I am not giving five stars is that the truck arrived about twenty minutes late, but the crew made up for it with their speed once they got started. Marcus, the crew chief, was apologetic about the delay and kept the team moving at a good pace. Everything arrived in perfect condition and the final price was exactly as quoted — $3,100 for my two-bedroom move from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Chicago, IL. They wrapped all my furniture, were respectful of my home, and placed everything in the right rooms at delivery. I would definitely use College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving again and recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable moving company. Aiden Wilson

Moving is ranked as one of the most stressful life events, but after my experience with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving moving me from Jersey City, NJ to Seattle, WA, I think that ranking needs to be revisited. The entire process was so smooth and well-organized that I actually enjoyed the experience. Marcus and his crew arrived at 8:00 AM and they were all business — in the best way possible. They came in, assessed the situation, and created a game plan on the spot. They designated one person to handle the kitchen, one to handle the bedrooms, and Marcus took charge of the living room and all the large furniture. They moved in perfect synchronization, calling out to each other as they passed in the hallway. My reclining sofa, which I was sure would not fit through the front door, was expertly maneuvered by Marcus using furniture sliders and a rotating technique. At the new place in Seattle, WA, they were just as meticulous. They protected my new floors with cardboard runners, padded the door frames, and placed every item exactly where I pointed. They reassembled my bed frame, my desk, and my bookshelves, and took all the packing materials away. The cost was $2,800 for a one-bedroom long-distance move, very competitive. College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving is worth every penny. Kimberly Jackson

I recently moved from Orlando, FL to Nashville, TN with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving and I cannot say enough good things about them. From the very first phone call, their customer service team was responsive, patient, and completely transparent about pricing. They gave me a binding estimate that did not change on moving day — no hidden fees, no surprise charges. The crew, led by Jamal, showed up right on time at 8 AM with a clean truck and all the equipment they needed. Jamal introduced himself and his team, laid down floor protectors in my hallway, and immediately got to work wrapping every single piece of furniture in moving blankets and stretch wrap. I was particularly worried about my grandmother's antique dining table, and Jamal personally made sure it was padded with extra blankets and custom cardboard corner protectors. My entire two-bedroom apartment was loaded in under three hours, and Jamal did a final walk-through with me to confirm nothing was left behind. During the drive, the driver called me with updates on his ETA. When they arrived at my new place in Nashville, TN, they unloaded everything just as carefully. Every box was placed in the correct room, my furniture was reassembled, and they even helped position my couch exactly where I wanted it. Not a single item was damaged. The final bill was exactly what was quoted — $3,200. College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving is the most professional moving company I have ever worked with. Luis Lewis

The team arrived with a smile, worked nonstop, and treated every item with care. Pricing was transparent with no surprises. This is the only moving company I will ever use.

Great service from a friendly and hardworking crew at College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving. They wrapped all my furniture carefully and handled my fragile boxes with extra attention. There was a minor communication delay with the dispatch office on the morning of the move, but Tommy and the actual movers were excellent and more than made up for it. Everything was delivered on time and in great shape from Oakland, CA to Louisville, KY. The price was competitive at $2,700 and there were no hidden fees. I would happily book College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving again for my next move. Solid four stars. Kenneth Lewis

Moved from a four-bedroom house and I was dreading it. But these movers made it feel easy. They were fast, organized, and genuinely nice people. Highly recommend without reservation.

My family and I just completed our move from Brooklyn, NY to Charlotte, NC with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving, and I felt compelled to write this review because the service was genuinely exceptional. Moving with three kids under the age of ten is chaotic enough, but the crew made the physical part of the move completely painless. Mike was the crew lead, and he was fantastic with my kids — he cracked jokes, let them "help" carry light boxes, and kept the mood light. But these guys are serious professionals. They wrapped every piece of furniture in quilted moving blankets and secured them with stretch wrap. My leather sectional sofa came out without a single mark. They took apart my kids' bunk beds, labeled every piece, and reassembled them perfectly at the new house. The truck was loaded with incredible efficiency — Mike told me he has been loading trucks for over ten years, and it showed. Delivery happened exactly when they said it would, and the crew in Charlotte, NC was just as good. They worked around my toddler's nap schedule and even offered to help me set up my nursery furniture. The final bill was $4,300, exactly as quoted. Not one item was broken, scratched, or lost. If you want a moving company that treats your family and your belongings with genuine care, College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving is the one. Michelle Clark

The move went smoothly for the most part. A couple of boxes were mislabeled but the crew fixed it right away. Overall a great experience, I would recommend them.

The estimate was spot-on with no hidden fees at the end. The movers were polite and efficient. They finished a three-bedroom apartment in under five hours. Incredibly impressive.

Very thorough with the packing and the inventory list. They even helped me reassemble my bed frame and mounted my TV. Went above and beyond. Will definitely book again.

The best money I have ever spent on a move. The crew was efficient, friendly, and incredibly careful. My wine collection and artwork arrived in perfect condition. Truly grateful.
