Moving with three kids under the age of ten is chaotic enough, but the crew made the physical part of the move completely painless. Junior was the crew lead, and he was fantastic with my kids — he cracked jokes, let them "help" carry light boxes, and kept the mood light. But these guys are serious professionals. They wrapped every piece of furniture in quilted moving blankets and secured them with stretch wrap. My leather sectional sofa came out without a single mark. They took apart my kids' bunk beds, labeled every piece, and reassembled them perfectly at the new house. The truck was loaded with incredible efficiency — Junior told me he has been loading trucks for over ten years, and it showed. Delivery happened exactly when they said it would, and the crew in Tampa, FL was just as good. They worked around my toddler's nap schedule and even offered to help me set up my nursery furniture. The final bill was $4,300, exactly as quoted. Not one item was broken, scratched, or lost. My move from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Fort Lauderdale, FL was handled with a level of professionalism that I did not know existed in the moving industry. Junior, the crew chief, called me the night before to confirm the arrival time and answer any last-minute questions. The team showed up at exactly 8 AM in a clean, well-maintained truck. They introduced themselves, shook my hand, and asked me to walk them through the house. I have a lot of fragile items — crystal vases, framed artwork, a grandfather clock — and Junior assured me they would take extra care with each one. Every fragile item was individually wrapped in packing paper and then bubble-wrapped before being placed in a double-walled box. My grandfather clock was padded so heavily it looked like it was wearing a winter coat. The crew loaded my entire two-bedroom apartment in about three hours and did a final walkthrough. Delivery in Fort Lauderdale, FL happened two days later, right on schedule. The unloading crew was equally impressive — careful, respectful, and quick. They laid down runners on my hardwood floors and corner guards on the door frames. I inspected every item and found zero damage. The bill was exactly as quoted: $3,450, no hidden charges. Great service from a friendly and hardworking crew at Allied Van Lines. They wrapped all my furniture carefully and handled my fragile boxes with extra attention. There was a minor communication delay with the dispatch office on the morning of the move, but Tommy and the actual movers were excellent and more than made up for it. Everything was delivered on time and in great shape from Staten Island, NY to Phoenix, AZ. The price was competitive at $2,700 and there were no hidden fees.
